I did not get lost :)

This noon I wanted to work on flight plan, so I printed the METAR, TAF... And went to the club. Then saw my favorite plane, 74U waiting outside for me. So I decided to to go out for a flight. I went to the training area, did stalls and slow flight. It was pretty bumpy. Then flew  towards point Alpha. And found way back home. It was very exciting. Wanted to try a couple of landings, ended up doing 2. The second was hard. It became windier. It was a bit high so i did something like forward slip :) The wind seemed to be coming from everywhere.

Next time we will review ground reference maneuvers, lost procedures and destination diversion(or was something like that) Then I will need to fly check flight. Then will be ready for solo XC. Should study for the written too. I guess after written and finishing XC time, there will the real practical test. I should spend more time on flying and studying.
I am happy because I flew today :)

Cheers 100!!

It was a busy week. I had a good rest last night. So I was good to go for the long working day. Left work aroun 7 pm. And went out for a run after I got home. Did 2 loops in 42 mins. Which is 3.4 miles. So it is 102.6 miles in total.. Let me make a guess how many miles I will run till September.. There are 5 months.. If I run each week 15 miles it will make 300 miles..

While running i remembered the ad i watched, i felt like the girl running perfect with her pink shoes, than started to feel like the man who could not run and was taken to the hospital!! :-)

Attended to a class called Intercultural Competency. I was the book, the homework :) They asked some questions to us, it was interesting experience.. I felt important :)
Yesterday was horrible. I felt bad.. But today was a good day. I am glad to be alive. Life's up and downs..

long day..

I left work at 6.45 pm today, and went to the Gym. ran 4 miles that makes 99.2 miles. I should find when i started to keep track of my miles. I am looking forward to see 61 kg before the end of this month. Losing weight will help my knees and make my running easier. need to rest my poor feet now..

I liked the last part most.. Was different than what I expected.. Especially during the first part I felt like a child playing with her music box looking at the little ballerina..

Monday mini run

I rushed to the Gym at lunch break. ran 2 miles, and walked last 4 mins of half an hour. tried to run with inclination of 4 for a mile. That is hard. It took me around 12 mins to run up that hill. should work on that time to time.  That makes 95.2 miles. 165 days to go.

April 1..Running, concert, picnic..

I ran 5.1 miles today, 3 laps as usual.It took 1 hour 1 min. Total miles 93.2. After pushing hard on Thursday evening, I had to rest 2 days. Have to keep that in mind.

Yesterday went to Cincinnati for a concert. It was my first time there. Appears to be a nice place. Plan to visit again. Curious about the Zoo, Underground Rail Road and Tea shop.

The concert was nice. Both of the composers were new for me. Philip Glass and Bruckner. Mr Glass was very kind to join the audience for a talk before the concert. I would like to watch the movies that he wrote the scores of. And Bruckner is a very important composer accepted in between the old classics and modern composers. I read a bit about his life. I guess he had a unhappy life. I am sorry for him.

And guess where I have been today? Last year when i craved going to seaside a couple of my friends had mentioned me the Ceasar's Creek Lake. But did not have a chance to go there. And have seen there from the air many times. Today we went there for a picnic. It is a nice place. I was suprised to see all the restrooms locked and there wasn't any trashbins next to the picnic areas. Wrote an e-mail about it. Had a nice weekend, have to do some more ironing to be ready for the week. Did not have any time to study Gleim this weekend :(
