late running

After work had to return the mower and went back to a meeting. It was 8 pm when I got back home. Quickly wore workout clothings and rushed outside. I am glad that i did. Jogged for 35 mins. And now i feel good. I was worried if the lighting is proper, it turned out well.

Kind of hard day at work. it is hard to get back a after dissapointing event.. More than half is over. Hope the rest will be better.. Unfortunately I will remember my years very unhappy at work in future.. Obviously the worst. :(

In between everthing running is a life saver. After spending my all day in a room without any windows, getting outside is my reward. I have the controlls when running. The limits are up to how I feel. I love it. :)

Sunday at home..

I ran for an hour and 9 mins. 3 loops around my usual track. each loop is 1.726 miles.That makes 5.178 miles.
Will rest and do things around the house for the rest of the day.

Catching up with last weeks..

The last 2 and a half weeks have been very busy. I had visited my country, attended my couisin's wedding. After coming back tried to catch up with my work. There were plenty although I was checking the e-mails while I was back home. The busy schedule was accompanied first with a cold than with a chronic cough which turned out to be allergic. Had to go to doctor twice, second was to have them change the medications.

Flew night cross country last Saturday. It was very hard due to all coughing and I was also tired. I run my first 5K last Saturday morning. Running with lots of people was a nice experience. Maybe will run April's Fool Run next Saturday.

I could not lose much weight (was 63.2 kg this morning) but feeling good and getting fit slowly. Plan to add some weights to my workout. Hope to go down to 55 kg in a year.That would be nice. If I get good rest I can try a long run tomorrow morning. 

Most of my colleagues flew back home yesterday after completing their masters studies. Home feels alone now after having guests for the last 10 days. 

I fell asleep on the couch last night watching something on TV. Tried to sleep in my  bed when I woke up in the morning. Did a little cleaning after breakfast. Rested a bit then went out for a quick jog. Then went out for a movie. The Hunger Games. It takes place in future, the people are living separetely, some live in districts. They are very poor and they seem to live a life like in concentration camps. They can hardly find food to eat. Their houses are broken down. Each district has to send a representative to the annual Hunger Games. This game is for the pleasure of the other group of people although they try to brain wash the poor ones that it is to commomorate the hard days they experienced. Why did not the rich provide the represeantatives too? It now reminds me poor families sending their kids to war while rich people just watch what happens on TV and the big companies/... manipulates the events. I want to read the book. Sometimes books are better than movies. I would not classify this a kids movie. There was plenty of violence. There was references to friendship, love, loyalty but the main frame was disturbing.

And one more note from today. I mowed the lawn this afternoon. First experience. It is not too hard but a bit tiring. It must be because it was the first time after the winter. Should do it more often, it would become easier.

Nightmare coughing was getting better since a couple of days. Started again in the evening.

I plan to study Gleim this weekend. We will start getting ready for the exam with friends..

My first 5K


I ran my first run this weekend. It was an experience. The weather was nice. I have been coughing lately, started with a cold, turned to allergies. I did not even cough during the run!

Back to the Gym

I woke up earlier than usual and went to the Gym with a friend. It was still dark.

The weather has been unexpectedly nice lately. Almost summer temperatures. My flowers next to the door have been growing very quickly..

I am having hard days at work lately. Almost regretted that I came here. Hope will get better..Seems like a big test to me..

In addition to this I have a bad cough and we to the doctor today. I did not notice that the pharmacy did not give one of the medicine. (which was for my cough :(( )

Tomorrow morning is 5K fun run. I don't think i can do 10 K. I was in better shape last week.. Hopefully hard times will be over soon..

Yolcu Abbas

Yolcu Abbas, bağlasan durmaz.. Bilet alayım mı, gideyim mi derken gitme zamanı geldi bile.. Kıvancımız evleniyor.. Tüm aileyi bir arada görmek, bu vesileyle arkadaşlarımla görüşmek için güzel bir fırsat. Yol uzun, biraz yorucu olacak ama değer.

Yorucu bir gündü. Cuma günü işte canımı sıkan olay konusunda bugün rahatladım. Sakınılan göze çöp batarmış derler ne kadar doğru, aman dikkat edeyim, aksayan gözümden kaçan birşey olmasın derken can sıkıcı bir tepkiyle karşılaşmak çok üzücü.. Ama aklıbaşında, mantıklı insanlarla çalıştığımı umuyorum.

Anneciğim yemeklerini çok özledim. Herkesi özledim. Burada olmak güzel, şikayetim yok halimden. Benim için iyi bir tecrübe oldu. Kendimi daha iyi tanıdım, insanlara ve kendime karşı biraz daha hoşgörülü oldum. Ama sizleri özlüyorum elbette.  

Çok yorulmuşum, bavul toplama işlerini bitirmek için enerji toplamaya çalışıyorum. Bugün spor yapamadım. Yarın sabah hava güzel olursa çıkıp bir güzel koşarım belki..Evde pek fırsatım olacağını sanmıyorum spor yapmaya.. Dönüşte de ilk koşumuz var. Neden koşmaya daha önceden başlamamışım hayıflanıyorum. Çok beylik bir laf olacak ama nerdeyse bir hayat tarzı diyeceğim geliyor. Çünki düzenli koşabilmek için düzenli yaşamak gerekiyor, düzenli beslenmek, uyku saatlerine dikkat etmek, hatta moralini yüksek tutmak, işleri zamanında bitirip spora zaman ayırmak..

Bugün yaşamak çok güzel.. Çok şükür..

weekly run/walk #5

This week 19.05 miles, total 64,75 miles. I am adding my walks too..
Yesterday i jogged for 7 miles. Still feeling tired but not sore :) 13 days before the first run.
