catching up
It has been almost 4 months since I am back home. I am almost adjusted to my work. It is going well. I really like the job and colleagues. I still have things to learn. I like it so far but it is very busy. I just don't like the fact that I am exhausted and don't have enough energy for workout.
This morning on my way to work (by public transportation) I wanted to check out my Kindle simple touch. I haven't really used it since I bought it last year on Thanksgiving. I kept reading the last book that I was reading. It is about how to chose the perfect job for you and how to succeed it. It gave me some good insight what it really means to work. And I really enjoyed my day.
And still had energy for a little jog in the evening.
Tomorrow is Saturday. Time to sleep in a bit and relax.

Istanbul Marathon (First one for me)
It was very hard especially because I did not train enough. Glad to have finished without any injuries (at least until now) Had to walk the last mile or so. The evening that I ran the race was horrible. My heart was beating so fast.r
The weather was perfect, the organization could be better. The city is very crowded, getting the bib and coming back where I was staying was a pain.
I am considering the race in Antalya in 2014 March the 2 nd now. I want to try another full and try to see what I can do if I train a little. Maybe I can go under 6 hours. I don't know.. will decide in a couple of weeks.

Coursera
I have met with Coursera recently. I love it. It is not like attending an online course but it gives you an introduction on the subject and if I can dedicate more time, I am sure I will get more of it. Have received 2 certifications already; Introduction to Art and Introduction to Psychology. I really enjoyed following the course by Prof. Steve Joordens.
Next course is Social Psychology.

Training for marathon
Yesterday I have registered for my first marathon. It is going to be on 17 November. I am very excited about it. Bought me a Garmin Forerunner 210 this Monday and on Tuesday I have registered for a marathon. I want to get best of my new watch. When I don't work out for a long time I feel guilty and with the first work out I push myself hard. I hope the watch will prevent it.
first half marathon
I have run my first half marathon on 7th April 2013. It took me 2 hours and 22 minutes 2 seconds..

111 days of Running
I miss running. Tried 2 miles today. Still have pain on right side. I am excited that I will run first half marathon in 111 days. Have to train so that I would not injure myself.

My first 10 K
From the beginning of the year I was training for September 10K. I did not have much chance to exercise for the last 2 months and I was recovering from a cold when I ran it. It was a different feeling. Kind of hard exams that I had studied for months or so. Preparing for it was the important part. I was so sore after I ran it. Could hardly walk in the evening of the run.
A couple of weeks ago I had run my first 15 K. And I want to run half marathon next year in March. But after 15 K I still have pain and I started to worry. Hope I didn't injure myself. I will start doing some streches. Muscles feel stiff.
I dont know how far i can go in this running habbit, i am glad i have placed it in my life. When everything goes bad or I feel bad it is a place that i can feel better. If it does not kill you, it will make you stronger!
